Reader David was riding bamboo deck boards but switched to cork. He says the cork dampens the EPS/epoxy out nicely and has the added bonus of not needing wax. Dave says he has been riding one for over 2 years now and it's still in great shape and only weighs ~5lbs with pad and fins.
