"I sometimes do a foam resin stain like this for a few reasons. The biggest reason is because you can't get a look like that with paint. Paint will almost always (at least in my experience) get muddy when you mix multiple colors like that. The other big reason is that you get a better bond in the glass job using resin for color vesus paint." ~ Mike Pedigo
